Shorthold tenancy
All leases at Belle Vue Court allow leaseholders to rent flats using a shorthand tenancy agreement for periods of six months or more.
A number of residents at Belle Vue Court rent their flat from leaseholders. The list below includes estate and letting agents who, according to either landlords and tenants, have provided a good service.
We do not allow agents to put up “property boards” as these make the property look untidy and provide very little benefit other than promoting the agent. In addition the people putting up the boards often cause damage that has to be repaired. Please ask your agent not to put up a board. Any boards that are put up will be removed.
Leaseholders should inform our managing agents if they are renting their property and who their letting agent is.
It should be remembered that the rules and regulations about noise and waste etc apply equally to tenants and they do to lease holders.
We do not recommend any agent but are happy to pass on your recommendations. If you have had a good service from any estate agent, whether as a tenant or as landlord please let other people know by adding their name to the list below. All you need to do is email their details to info@bellevuecourt.co.uk
Short term holiday lets
Using flats at Belle Vue Court for activities such as short term holiday lets is not permitted by the terms of the leases.
Any leaseholder who is considering this type of activity is advised to take independent legal advice before making any commitments.
