Parking

Parking at Belle Vue Court is managed by an external contractor and is compliant with the guidelines of the British Parking Association

It is the responsibility of every resident to ensure that their personal, visitor’s or contractor’s vehicle have the appropriate permit.

Further information is published at various points around the site.

How it works

From 13th July 2026 parking management at Belle Vue Court is contracted to National Parking Control (NPC) who, in accordance with the appropriate legislation, have the right charge people who are not displaying a permit or who have outside of a marked bay. Photocopies of permits will not be accepted.

The contract operates 24hrs a day 7 days a week (except Christmas Day). The contract operates at no cost to leaseholders.

There are 26 marked bays with some able to accommodate larger vehicles. There is no guarantee of a space so anyone unable to park within a space must park off site and pay the appropriate fee.

NPC’s patrol’s visit Belle Vue Court at irregular intervals and adjust the number of visits depending on the number of infringements.

They are experienced in managing issues such as carer parking. If you have any concerns please email info@bellevuecourt.co.uk

Avoiding a penalty

Resident permits: This is managed via an e-permit system. Every eligible flat has the right to have one vehicle registered. If the vehicle registration changes it is the responsibility of the resident (whether a leaseholder or tenant) to update the permit. This can be done by emailing info@bellevuecourt.co.uk and requesting an application form. The permit allows parking 24/7.

Leaseholders that rent their property should inform their tenant or agents of these arrangements.

Vehicles must be parked within the lines of a bay to avoid a penalty charge notice.

Visitor permits: The permit must be displayed in the windscreen of the visitor’s vehicle and the vehicle must be parked within the lines of a bay. Visitor permits allow a vehicle to be parked for any three hour period between 8am and 8pm with no return for 3 hours. Parking, with a visitor permit, is allowed without restriction between 8pm and 8am.

Replacement visitor permits: Requests for a replacement visitor permit can be made by emailing info@bellevuecourt.co.uk. There is an administration cost of £5.00 for each replacement permits. Replacement permits take approximately 1 week to be produced so you will need to make alternative arrangements to park during this time.

Contractor permits: We hold a number of contractor permits that can be used by any authorised contractor. Contractor permits allow a contractor to use the car park for as long as they need to. To request a permit to give to your contractor please email info@bellevuecourt.co.uk. When the work has been completed the permit must be returned. If the permit is not returned a charge of £25.00 will be made to the leaseholder.

Residents can also provide their contractor with a visitor permit if the contractor is not expected to be onsite for more than 3 hours. Contractors using a visitor permit are not limited to 3 hours parking if their vehicle is clearly identified as a legitimate contractor (ie a van with the company name on the side).

On Street parking vouchers: Resident can buy books of parking vouchers for H zone from Brighton and Hove Council, these can also be used by visitors and contractors. The permits are limited to 4hours.

Blue Badge Holders: There is no arrangement for Blue Badge Holders to park at Belle Vue Court without displaying a valid Resident or Visitor Permit.
